Global objective:
Revitalise and operationalise the provincial Conseil Consultatif de Résolution des Conflits Coutumiuers in South Kivu.
More specifically, this mission aims to:
- Inform, sensitise and mobilise customary chiefs on the CCRCC and its role in the resolution of customary conflicts across South Kivu Province.
- To popularise the legal texts relating to the exercise of customary power and the settlement of related conflicts.
- Obtain the support of customary chiefs for the revitalisation and operationalisation of the provincial CCRCC and the local CCRCCs in prospect.
- Agree in a collegial and consensual manner on a strategy and action plan for the revitalisation of the CCRCC, at the provincial and ETD levels.
