VNG International has been operating in Lebanon since 2015 and is currently implementing the ‘SDLG-Migration’ project, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We are collaborating with two Unions of Municipalities (UoMs) in Northern Beqaa (UoM of Deir El Ahmar) and North Lebanon (UoM of Minieh), representing a total of 17 municipalities. Additionally, we facilitate ‘Active Citizenship Labs’ in partnership with grassroots CSOs in six villages and towns where municipalities have been dissolved or are inactive. Our expertise spans a wide range of areas, including solid waste management, local revenue mobilization, social statistics, and digitization
