VNG Fund for Emergency Aid, Reconstruction, and Peacebuilding – Gaza

Dutch municipalities see that a growing number of citizens are deeply concerned about the situation in Gaza. Several municipalities in the Netherlands have spoken out against the national government’s policy. There might also be municipalities that want to express their solidarity in a concrete way.

VNG Fund for Emergency Aid, Reconstruction, and Peacebuilding

Through the VNG Fund for Emergency Aid, Reconstruction, and Peacebuilding, Dutch municipalities can jointly contribute to humanitarian assistance and municipal reconstruction in areas affected by disasters and conflict.

Municipalities (and individuals) who wish to contribute financially to emergency aid and reconstruction in Gaza can do so via:

VNG International

VNG International – the international cooperation agency of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities – has extensive experience with post-crisis reconstruction, including in Ukraine, Turkey, and Morocco. This expertise is currently being used to develop a program in support of the early reconstruction of local governance in Gaza, in close collaboration with international and local partners.
