Mr. Kuppen holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies from Leiden University and a master’s degree in Crisis and Security Management from Leiden University. Mr. Kuppen is currently involved in VNG International’s programmes in the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Dominican Republic. He was previously involved in projects in Iraq, Lebanon, Sierra Leone, and Türkiye.
Mr. Kuppen has extensive experience in different themes related to international development and subnational governance. He has previous experience at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Singapore and a global strategic leadership consultancy firm.
