Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Groningen and MSc in Human Security from the University of Aarhus. Thematic focus on transitional justice and sustainable development in post-conflict societies. Currently account manager for South Sudan, involved in VNG International’s projects in Ukraine and Zimbabwe as well as working for the UCLG Peace Prize.

What I like about VNG International's projects is their local and context-specific approach. Local inclusive governance processes can promote peaceful societies and can help achieve stability and human security, which only comes with human rights and the rule of law.
