In Ghana VNG International, together with its local partner Maple consult, are implementing the so called The Ghana Tax Revenue for Economic Enhancement (TREE) project (2019-2021) to boost revenues and improve quality of services delivered by the participating municipalities. End of March a kick off meeting for the second tranche of 17 municipalities was launched in Kumasi. During the kick off the Ashanti Regional Minister and representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Local Government and Rural Development emphasised the importance of the project  to aid the realisation of the Ghana Beyond Aid Agenda.
