VNG International supports associations of local governments in South East Asia, Latin America, West and East Africa through the “LOGO South Association Capacity Building programme”. The “LOGO South programme 2007-2010 – Developing the Capacity of the Local Government Sector” targets local government in general. The Association Capacity Building (ACB) component of that programme focuses more specifically on the umbrella organisations of local government, the so-called Local Government Associations. As such this component is a follow-up of the LOGO South Programme (ACB) 2003-2006. LOGO South is funded by the Dutch Ministry for Development Cooperation.
