Launch of VNG International's office in Ankara - 21-09-11

VNG International has established its project office in Ankara in the frame of the EU funded project on participatoty strategic governance at the local level in Turkey. The project was introduced in the light of the new strategic management concept to local administration in Turkey, i.e. introducing strategic plans and performance budgeting. The operation is based in Ankara with activities being implemented by the Technical Assistance Team in 26 pilot provinces. Activities aim at increased strategic planning capacity of local administration, increased efficiency and effectiveness of citizen’s assemblies and enhanced participatory decision-making culture at the local level. The project office is located at Boğaz Sokak 27/5, G.O.P. Çankaya – Ankara.
