VNG International is managing professional and innovative programmes for municipal international cooperation in which hundreds of local governments, from various European countries, Africa, Asia and Latin America, have participated or still participate. The programmes are well structured and result-oriented. They are financed by the EU and the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Selected programme:
The Good Local Government Programme LOGO South is a €28 mln. twinning programme  for the period 2007-2010 which aims to increase the management capacity of local governments in terms of planning, financial management and human resources management in a transparent and accountable way in 18 developing countries.

Selected programme:
The Good Local Government Programme LOGO East, Phase II, is a €3,45 mln. twinning programme for the period 2008-2009 which aims to strengthen the capacity of regional and local governments to provide better public services in Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Ukraine, Serbia and the Russian Federation and to increase the quantity and quality of partnerships between regional and local governments in the Netherlands and in these countries.
