Conflict Prevention, Peace Building & Post-Conflict Reconstruction
VNG International and associated municipalities have a long record of engagement with local governments in fragile states. The activities in these states address classical themes of municipal services, participation and democracy, but with elements of conflict-prevention, peace-building and post-conflict reconstruction. We also support dialogue at the local level and contribute to the development of the concept and practice of 'city diplomacy'.
