Talent for Governance, an initiative by The Hague Academy,  supports young, talented civil servants working for local governments in developing countries and Eastern European (non-EU) countries.  By providing them with a scholarship programme, consisting of a training course at The Hague Academy and a short internship at a Dutch local government,  the carefully selected  young civil servants will gain knowledge, skills and experiences .  This will help them to strengthen their local governments and improve the living conditions of the people in the communities that they work for.
