VNG International's European services are concentrated in its Service Bureau Europe. The desk provides services for Dutch and other European local authorities who want to anticipate on the possibilities and challenges the European Union offers. Its services include information and advice on European grants and European projects, European knowledge networks and city partnerships.

To keep you informed on recent European developments and opportunities, the Bureau offers several practical publications including the Dutch-language annual guide to European grants for local authorities. On a regular basis thematic seminars, master classes and exchange visits are being organized to facilitate information exchange and cross fertilization.  

Operating successfully within a European context starts with good insight in EU processes. To this end Service Bureau Europe offers tailor-made study visits to Brussels and Strasbourg, with a special focus on topics relevant to local authorities.
